Borgund Stave Church

Borgund Stave Church, Borgund, Norway

Thanks to Rick Steves Blog, I've learned about stave churches... which are medieval churches of Norwegian "built like upside-down Viking ship hulls supported on each corner by staves, or thick posts." Apparently, there aren't too many original ones left. Rick Steves says this ones the best, but the Hopperstad one is all black, which would be kind of cool too.
