Bish Bash Falls

File:Bashbish 002.jpg
Bash Bish Falls, Berkshire County, Massachusetts

Not only does this place have an awesome name, it's near the town of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, whose Laurel Hill Association is the oldest village beautification society, having been founded in 1853.  That's over 150 years of beautifying!  That place must be beautiful.

Dawes Concert

Dawes Concert

For whatever reason, I don't go to many concerts.  Live music is great though.  These guys have an awesome album, and I hope they are just as good live but that would be a tall order.  Although, they sound pretty good here.

Rock of Gibralter

Rock of Gibralter

It seems like a cool place.  Maybe I'll go to live with the barbary monkeys to insure the British rule.  I went to look up who would get it when all the monkeys die, and it turns out that that's not true... so says Wikipedia.  Spain though still thinks it's theirs, but what do they know?

German Autobahn

German Autobahn

I have to admit that I really just want to drive on the autobahn so that I can say that I did it.  I'm sure that I would go real fast, but I'm not much of a Top Gun.  Whenever I go much over 60 I start wondering how much extra gas I'm burning going this fast.  Sign of the times, I guess.

Mumford and Sons Concert

Mumford and Sons Concert

These guys are awesome and every song seems to be geared towards the audience at some point in the song.  It seems like one big sing-a-long, which might be where I really want to go.

Ovalau, Fiji

File:Ovalau.jpg
Ovalau, Fiji

Fiji is one of those random islands in the middle of the ocean.  This picture reminds me of the show Lost, so I'm hoping that this green jungle is home to several polar bears roaming around scaring people.  It's definitely home to some of the best water anywhere apparently, so it's shipped to high-class hotels in places like Virginia Beach.  Just side note, but Virginia Beach has pretty good tap water... it's no Fiji water that's been shipped halfway around the world, but it's not bad.

Rafting Down the Lochsa River

Rafting down the Lochsa River, near Orofino, Idaho

I spent a summer in this area in high school and told myself that I would return to go rafting on the crystal clear water, which I never got to do.  That was fifteen years ago.  This area is beautful though and I would love to return.  Interesting tidbit: the name Idaho derives from the Apache word for enemy... apparently that is disputed, but still taught.

Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area

Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, Tianjin, China

China's got some cool buildings.  This picture is of the finance street in the free market zone known as Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area.  I found this picture looking up the new world's largest supercomputer, Tianhe-1A, but it turns out pictures of supercomputers aren't too exciting, and I'm not sure if I really need to see it.  Tianjin apparently has more international business than Shanghai though, which surprised me.
