Banryutei rock garden, Kongobuji Temple, Mount Kōya, Wakayama, JapanThis temple is the traditional starting and ending point of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, a path visiting 88 Shingon temples in the Wakayama prefecture in Japan. The hike is suppose to take between 30 to 60 days, much better than my local hike of legend, the Appalachian Trail which takes somewher around 6 months. Plus, you get to see a bunch of old Japanese temples, with real live monks in them.
